He played college football at Texas Longhorns and joined the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2014. During the 2018 season, he earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors. Phillips joined the Patriots in 2020.Adrian Phillips played for the Texas Longhorns from 2010 to 2013. He played in 50 games, starting 28. He was a 2013 honorable mention All-Big 12 coaches choice.
