Jonathon Brooks (born July 21, 2003) is an American football running back. He played college football at Texas Longhorns.As a true freshman at Texas in 2021, Jonathon Brooks played in four games and had 21 carries for 143 yards and a touchdown. He played in seven games as a redshirt freshman behind Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson. He finished the year 197 rushing yards on 30 carries with five touchdowns. With Robinson and Johnson both being selected in the 2023 NFL draft, Brooks earned more carries in 2023.
